We function best if we can truly "buy into" the philosophy of your project. This may be accomplished through personal interviews and discussions, sitting in on rehearsals and performances. Even if you do not have a performance booked, we can facilitate a performance by getting you onstage for a few songs.

It is actually that important for us to see and hear you perform. Remember, we are not in your audience to critique your performance. We are there to analyze your public relations needs.

Specializing in both bookings and publicity, Music Associates was born in 1984 as a talent agency for rock bands. Today, we at Music Associates primarily focus our efforts on the publicity and public relations side of the business. We work exclusively for indie recording artists and other unsigned acts.

We can assist with bookings however that is not our primary function. We can help you get more radio play for your C.D., additional press coverage, and top internet search engine placement. Additionally, we can assist you in setting up and maintaining a professional website, YouTube and MySpace accounts and other forms of internet presence.

Our PRO Tools recording lab is staffed by a highly regarded and talented recording engineer who will get your demo or CD ready for release in style. That, coupled with our hi-speed CD duplicating equipment and label printing capabilities, will get your CD into the right hands in a matter of weeks. Further, we have on staff two professional photographers to help us facilitate production of gorgeous portfolios, brochures and business cards/stationary. Our extensive mailing lists of potential employers and radio stations will also be in your corner if we are your publicists.

Album Review

Currently our featured artist is Alan Morphew. Alan is a "Modern Folk Rock" singer/songwriter from Los Angeles with an incredibly powerful voice.

If your computer's sound is turned on, that's Alan playing in the background.

Alan has received numerous awards for his own music and songwriting. He released his first solo album in 2005 and another in 2007. A new release is in the final stages of production and will be released in early 2008.
